SUMMARY:Webinar: Restoring Energy & Resilience with Katie Michaud
DESCRIPTION:A zoom webinar organized by Golden Dog Company \nABOUT THE EVENT:\nAs we transition out of winter\, many of us feel depleted — low energy\, inconsistent routines\, heavier comfort foods\, and lingering mental fatigue. \nThis interactive Zoom session focuses on restoring steady energy and rebuilding resilience through practical\, sustainable nutrition and daily habits. Nutrition anchors the conversation because consistent fueling directly impacts mood\, mental clarity\, balance\, and physical strength. \nOur guest expert for this month’s discussion is Katie Michaud\, MS\, OTR/L\, Community and Life Care Director at Cornerstone VNA. With a background in occupational therapy and leadership in community mental health education and fall prevention\, Katie brings a grounded\, real-world perspective on how energy\, stability\, and daily function intersect in everyday life. \nThis 90-minute guided discussion creates space for meaningful conversation and practical application. Guests are encouraged to participate through guided prompts and live Q&A to gain the greatest benefit — leaving with actionable tools\, clearer insight into their own energy and resilience patterns\, and supportive connection with others navigating similar seasonal shifts. \nWhat we’ll cover: \n\nWhy winter often leads to under-fueling or inconsistent eating\nHow protein and meal timing support steady energy and mood\nThe connection between blood sugar and mental resilience\nHow fatigue increases fall risk and physical instability\nSimple\, sustainable shifts that rebuild stamina and confidence\n\nTogether\, we’ll explore how small\, intentional shifts in fueling and routine can improve energy\, strengthen stability\, and support emotional resilience as we move into spring. \nCOST: Please register for this online event below. \n\nN/C for members (Your special pricing will be reflected in the CART)\n$15/person for Non-Yet-Members\n\nThis event will take place in our Zoom Room. You will receive the Zoom Room link and additional details via email after registering as well as the day of the event. Can’t attend the live session? You will be emailed a link to the recording upon conclusion of the event. \nABOUT KATIE MICHAUD\, MS\, OTR/L:\nKatie is the Community and Life Care Director at Cornerstone VNA and has been with the organization since 2013\, beginning as a field Occupational Therapist. She earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of New England. \nKatie leads Cornerstone’s community education initiatives\, mental health support programs\, fall prevention efforts\, volunteer services\, and private duty care. She directs the organization’s Mental Health Team and is widely recognized for her work in mental health education and safety. \nHer expertise bridges daily function\, emotional health\, and fall prevention — offering a grounded\, practical lens on how energy\, stability\, and resilience work together in everyday life. \nQUESTIONS:\nIf you have questions\, text/call (603) 815-2453 or email woof@goldendognh.com. \nRegistration: https://goldendognh.com/events/online-event-restoring-energy-and-resilience/
