    ABOUT THE EVENT: Save the date for our 2nd Annual Paws & Purpose event, a special afternoon of dog-friendly fun, community connection, and meaningful support for Cornerstone VNA’s Pet Peace of Mind® program. Bring your dog, invite your friends, and enjoy a lively outdoor event filled with wellness-focused vendors, enrichment activities, food, and opportunities to learn more about the vital support this program provides to the beloved pets of hospice patients. This event is all about celebrating the human-animal bond while helping ensure that hospice patients can remain connected to the pets they love.   IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS? Reactive Dog Level 3-4. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. This event is moderately stimulating and may be suitable for some reactive dogs, depending on their comfort level. It will take place in an open outdoor setting with on-leash requirements, spaced-out activity stations, and room to create distance. Expect excitement, barking, and movement around enrichment areas and splash pools. Early arrival is recommended for a quieter experience. Guardians should bring high-value treats, calming aids, and have an exit plan. Dogs who are highly reactive or easily overwhelmed may be more comfortable sitting this one out.
