Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurses

Stacey Genest, RN, MSN, WCC
Stacey graduated from Rivier University with a BSN and a  Master’s Degree in Nursing Management and Leadership in 2019 . Stacey started her career in long term and acute care and then joined Cornerstone VNA in 2016. Stacey became Wound Care Certified (WCC) in 2017 and had extensive training as Ostomy Management Specialist in 2018. Stacey is an active member of the Wound and Ostomy team.

Amy graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2005 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Amy has acute care experience and experience as a diabetes educator. She joined the Cornerstone VNA team in 2017. Amy became an Ostomy Management Specialist (OMS) in 2018.

Roberta “Bobi” Mifsud, RN, BSN, WCC
Bobi graduated from Syracuse University in 1993 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Bobi has acute trauma care experience. She joined the Cornerstone VNA team in 2014. Bobi became Wound Care Certified (WCC) in 2018.

Kendra graduated from Great Bay Community College 2014 and has worked as a Home Care RN at Cornerstone VNA since 2019. She earned her certification as Ostomy Management Specialist (OMS) in 2020.

Allyson Alexander, PT, DPT, Cert. MDT, CLT, WCC
Allyson graduated from Ithaca College in 2006 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.  She worked as an outpatient physical therapist from 2007-2020, and joined Cornerstone VNA in 2020. She earned her lymphedema certification (CLT) in 2011, her Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy certification (McKenzie Method) in 2012 and most recently became Wound Care Certified (WCC) in 2021.  Allyson is an active member of the Wound Care team, and focusses on the management of patients with lymphedema and wounds.

Danielle Welch, RN, CRNI

Danielle graduated from Merrimack College in 2006 with her Bachelor of Science degree and continued on to obtain her Associate Degree in Nursing from Great Bay Community College in 2008.  Danielle started her career in the hospital setting and then joined Cornerstone VNA in 2012.  Shortly after starting with Cornerstone VNA, Danielle joined the IV team and in 2015 became certified in Infusion therapy (CRNI).  Danielle is also a member of the Infusion Nurses Society (INS) and has attended the INS annual conference.

Erica Seawards, RN, CRNI

Erica graduated from Great Bay Community College with an Associate Degree of Science in Nursing in 2014.  She first gained experience in the skilled nursing and medical-surgical setting, and then joined Cornerstone VNA in 2016.  Shortly after, Erica joined Cornerstone’s IV team and preceptor team.  She received a certification in infusion therapy in 2021 (CRNI). She continues to work toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and plans to attend annual infusion conferences.

Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) began as a Speech therapy effort and then expanded to the OT and PT disciplines. LSVT is an innovative and clinically-proven method for improving communication and movement in individuals with Parkinson’s disease with application to other neurological conditions.

Clinical Coordinator – Telehealth

Anne Carle, RN

Anne graduated from The University of New England in 2008 as a Registered Nurse with an Associate’s Degree. After working in a hospital setting for 12 years, as a Certified Nursing Assistant to RN, Anne joined Cornerstone VNA. She joined the Home Care team in 2012 as a Case Manager and is now the Clinical Coordinator managing the Telehealth program where she monitors patients closely on a daily basis. She also assists clinicians out in the field with any clinical issues. Anne is currently an active member of the Cornerstone VNA Disease Management Committee and The Smart Goal Team.  Anne has been awarded the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Telehealth Honors®presented by Health Recovery Solutions. The Telehealth Honors®is the only program to annually recognize individuals and programs who provide exceptional patient care in the home using modern telehealth technology.

Certified Matter of Balance Master Trainer
    Katie Michaud, MS, OTR/L
    Katie is a Home Care Team Manager at Cornerstone VNA.  She graduated with her Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of NE in 2009.  In 2017, Katie received her Master Trainer Certification in a program called “A Matter of Balance”.  A Matter of Balance is designed to reduce fear of falling and increase activity levels among older adults.  Through this program, Katie trains volunteers to become balance coaches who facilitate community balance classes.  Katie has been with Cornerstone VNA since 2013 and is currently a chairperson of the Strafford County Fall Prevention Task Force.

    Becky graduated from The University of New England in Biddeford, Maine with a BS in Occupational Therapy in 1987 and has been an Occupational Therapist at Cornerstone VNA since 2014.  She brings a wealth of experience having worked for many years in areas of rehab and home care.  She began serving on the Cornerstone VNA Safety Committee in 2019 and received her “A Matter of Balance” Master Trainer Certification in October 2018.
