Kiddie Cornerstone Fund
Thank you for your interest in donating to the Kiddie Cornerstone Fund at Cornerstone VNA.
Caring for Kids
Thanks to donations, our Pediatric Nurse has been able to give special gifts to young patients like Skye. According to Skye’s mom, “Skye’s nurse surprised me one afternoon when she asked to drop by to give me something. It was $100 worth of gas cards, given from the Kiddie Cornerstone Fund at Cornerstone VNA. And that right there took care of our gas for a whole month. And we are so grateful because Boston isn’t exactly around the corner. In addition to gas cards, She has brought over books and little toys for the girls, also gifts from the Kiddie Cornerstone Fund. Cornerstone VNA doesn’t just take care of Skye, they take care of our whole family.”

Kids Helping Kids

Cameron
At the age of 10, Cameron learned about the Kiddie Cornerstone Fund and wanted to find a way to help. In collaboration with his elementary school, he organized a Pajama Day for his fundraising idea. His classmates donated at least $1 to wear their Pajamas to school and he was able to raise $230. Well done, Cameron! Thanks to Cameron’s efforts, a local donor was inspired to match what was raised by the kids, which was really thoughtful. If you would like your child’s school to get involved, contact our Advancement Department at 603-332-1133 x1203 or send an email.
History of the Kiddie Cornerstone Fund

The Kiddie Cornerstone Fund was established in 2016 by Archana Bhargava, MD (pictured on the far right), Hematologist Oncologist at Beth Israel Lahey Health, Exeter Hospital, in Exeter, NH. Dr. Bhargava, who served as a Board Member at Cornerstone VNA, wanted to find a way to bring smiles to our smallest patients and their families, especially patients with chronic illnesses. Dr. Bhargava approached the Board and Staff at Cornerstone VNA to establish a special fund for pediatric patients as well as for parents with newborns and their siblings. The Kiddie Cornerstone Fund has been very successful in promoting hope and healing at home for our smallest patients. Our thanks to Dr. Bhargava for her passion and her vision to start this special fund.
