This year, we kicked off our “Above and Beyond” Awards. Each Quarter, this award is given to staff nominated by our patients, families, or community members. The “Above and Beyond” award celebrates team members who go above and beyond in providing exceptional care and support, and who have exceeded patient or client expectations.
Our Quarter 1 Above and Beyond Award was given out at the end of February, and we were pleased to recognize Michelle Dow, Homemaker in our Life Care – Private Duty Department! Our Quarter 2 Above and Beyond Award recipients, representing our four Home Care Teams, included Todd Burnett, PT, DPT, CLT, WCC, Erica Seawards, RN, BSN, CRNI, Natalie Graveline, RN, and Kayla Palmer, RN. And our Q3 recipients included Becky Blaisdell, Assistant Billing Manager, Alexis Scroggs, Scheduling Coordinator, Becky Boccio, RN, Hospice Coordinator, and Jenn Manning, MS-OTR/L CCM, Community Liaison.
During our Annual Appreciation Breakfast on November 5, we recognized our Quarter 4 Above and Beyond Award recipients. Congratulations to the following members of our Hospice and Palliative Care Teams who received glowing comments from our patients and families.
Katie LeBlanc, M.A, Chaplain
- “I am truly grateful for all the support we received during my mother’s final 6 weeks. You were there with us, providing everything we needed to make mom comfortable…it was such a comfort to me as I was by momma’s side. The chaplain, Katie, was such a spiritual comfort to us all There are angels on earth, you are all them…we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”

Ingrid Dietrich, RN, BSN, Hospice Nurse
“Ingrid was very helpful and my wife always looked forward to her visits.”- “Cornerstone VNA helped us take care of our mom after a bad fall until she went into a nursing home. Mom has severe Alzheimer’s and Dysphasia. Ingrid and Amy were lifesavers as they helped us take care of Mom. We couldn’t have done it without their amazing help, compassion, and understanding.”
